How to Place an Order

Add a product to your shopping cart by using the Buy Now button or drop down selection menu in the Buy Here! section of each product page.

If you prefer, you can also do all of your shopping from one convenient place - at our Price Info & Order Form page.

When you click on a product's BUY NOW button, the contents of your shopping cart will be displayed - this information is also displayed when you click on any of the VIEW CART buttons that are placed on pages throughout the Web site.

While viewing the contents of your shopping cart, you can change the quantity of an ordered item or remove it from your cart. The item's price and the total value of your current order are shown and you can update the totals after you have made changes - simply press the EDIT button to complete the change. Enter your email address here too if you would like to have your shipping and/or billing details and telephone number automatically entered for your next order. From this page, you can then choose to:

  • - our system will empty your shopping cart & return you to the last page visited

  • Continue Shopping
  • - our system will return you to the last page visited
  • - use the BUY NOW or VIEW CART buttons to return here later & process your order

  • Complete Purchase
  • - you will be prompted to provide and confirm your shipping & payment information
  • - an email will be sent to you directly to acknowledge receipt of your order

  • Our order processing system also gives you the option of providing your credit card information to a real person over the telephone, via fax or via mail, instead of via the Internet simply select the "Mail Fax Phone" option in the payment type section. Note that you will not purchase any items and that your online order will not be fulfilled until you have successfully completed the Complete Purchase section of our site and received a confirmation that your order has been shipped. This confirmation will generally be sent to you via email, after the email that has been sent to acknowledge receipt of your order.

    Pricing, Sales Tax & Methods of Payment

    All prices on the Sound Ideas Web site are quoted in U.S. funds, and all transactions are conducted and charged in U.S. currency.

    Sound Ideas accepts the following credit cards for online orders: Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover. Sorry, but our Web site cannot accept C.O.D. orders or orders made on your existing Sound Ideas account.

    Shipping Destinations, Costs & Options


    Sound Ideas ships to almost anywhere in the world - if your location is served by a courier service that we use, we can deliver our quality products to you - usually within a week of receiving your order.

    All online product orders are shipped at no charge by first class mail or ground service courier. Please see the Customs Duties & Taxes tab on this page for details about import duties, which must be paid by you the purchaser.

    Wherever possible, we attempt to ship your order on the day that it is received here in our office. Please note that shipment of orders received after 1:00 p.m. local time, during weekends or Canadian statutory holidays may be slightly delayed.

    Rush Service Charges                        

    If you need your Sound Ideas product order delivered on a RUSH basis, we can ship it via overnight courier (for delivery on the next business day) - if we receive your order by no later than 12:00 noon Eastern Standard Time (Monday through Friday, Canadian Statutory Holidays excluded).

    To request RUSH service, use the pull down menu in the Additional Information section of our Shipping Information form. Your order will be shipped via overnight courier, and we will add the cost of RUSH courier service to the order value charged on your credit card.

    If you require Saturday delivery for your order, please send a separate email to to request this service, and we will be pleased to get it to you double-fast-quick.

    Orders received after 12:00 noon EST will be shipped before the close of the next business day.

    Customs Duties & Taxes

    Your order confirmation will provide the total value of your order and the method of its shipment, and it will confirm that this amount has been charged to your credit card, but it will not include the value of any local Customs import duties or taxes. All import taxes and duties are the sole responsibility of the purchaser, and must be paid to the appropriate authorities before product can be delivered.

    Order Changes & Cancellations

    We accept all requests for order changes and cancellations - until your product has been shipped. Simply contact us via email and we will do our best to assist you. If your request for a change or cancellation is not received before the shipment leaves our warehouse, we ask that you refuse its delivery and instruct the courier to return it to Sound Ideas, its place of origin.

    Damaged Goods & Returns

    We package all goods very carefully for both local and international shipping, but sometimes things get damaged in transit. Our quality control checks are rigorous, but occasionally a manufacturer's defect escapes our eagle eye inspectors.

    If you receive a damaged product from Sound Ideas, please contact us immediately to arrange for its prompt return and replacement.

    If for any other reason you are not 100% satisfied with any product purchased from Sound Ideas, we accept product returns within 14 days, but it is important that you advise us first of your intent to return the product(s).
